We had the best experience we have ever had going to a dealership looking for a vehicle. We found something that we liked in our price range. They worked it out that we could buy it and get the payments that we wanted to have and they worked out the best price they could on the vehicle, and with two thousand dollars off, and what we put down, it was an amazing deal. We went in on Monday and looked; they got things together on Tuesday because the vehicle had just come in on trade, Wednesday, we were down there signing papers and drove our truck home. I purchased a vehicle from Albia Ford sight unseen. I saw it on the website, sent a response through the website, and got a reply the next morning. They responded with videos, photos, and any information I asked for they got to me within a few hours. After a couple of phone negotiations, I got a very good offer on my trade, as well as negotiating a great price for the new vehicle. Everybody was responsive, despite a few rounds of phone tag. Albia Ford even had a driver bring the new car to me, and pick up my trade, signing all the paperwork electronically and at the vehicle drop-off. The process took just 3 days, with a 4th for delivery. Everybody that I spoke to had a "let's get this done" attitude, and it was a welcome change over the typical dealership. I am extremely happy with my purchase from Albia Ford, and would not hesitate to do it again.
A few weeks ago I bought my 2022 Toyota Tacoma from our salesperson at Albia Ford. She provided some of the friendliest and most laid-back sales service I have ever encountered. Our salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about my truck, the previous owner only put 21,000 miles on it and she made me feel welcome during the experience. At the beginning of the transaction, I let her know I was not going to purchase extras. She was just fine with that and never pressured me to do so. This was the best experience ever, largely due to our salesperson, the general manager and the finance manager. All of them were professional, warm, and friendly. I really liked this team. I was in Chariton visiting relatives when my Ford Ranger started having engine problems. We went to Albia Ford late in the day and they said we could come back tomorrow; the only problem was we were flying out later the next day from Des Moines and were relying on the Ford Ranger to get us there. They said since we were from out of state, they would try to squeeze us in. They repaired it, tested it and drove it to make sure they had fixed it. Today it is hard to find an honest, friendly and competent dealership to help you when in dire need. This was exemplified by the service manager and the mechanic who got us back on the road so quickly. We appreciate their help for saving our vacation by going out of their way to help some strangers. I had bought my Ford Edge from their Chariton location 3 years ago. My car has been through everything with me. I have never had any issues. Some of the reviews on here confuse me because I have had nothing but good experiences with both stores. I just took my car in to get two recalls in my car replaced. They were fast about it and efficient. They also communicated with me what was going on and what was wrong with my car. I didn't have to pay anything, obviously because it was a recall. They even offered to put me in a newer vehicle. I have had nothing but good luck with my car and financing. Thank you Albia Ford!
I had a nail on one of my tires. They were able to patch it and change my oil in 45 minutes. I came in 15 minutes early for the oil change. I was out on time.
